A booking or quote link lets customers act straight from your profile, without hunting through your website. For trades, a direct link to a short quote form often works better than a full booking system.
Your options
- Appointment or booking link: a URL to your booking page or quote form, added in your profile's business information.
- Integrated booking: some booking software providers connect directly with Google so customers can book inside Google.
- Call button: already there if you've added a phone number. For urgent trades, this is still the main action.
Adding a link
- Open your Business Profile and edit the business information.
- Find the booking or appointment link field.
- Paste the address of your booking page or quote form.
- Save, and test the link from your phone.
Make the destination work
- Link straight to the form, not your home page.
- Keep the form short: name, phone, suburb, job.
- Make sure it works well on a phone.
- Add tracking so you can see how many enquiries come from Google.
Note on messaging
Google removed chat messaging from Business Profiles in 2024, so a phone number and a quote link are now the main ways customers contact you from your profile.
