Contact forms that get more enquiries

Every extra field on a form costs you enquiries. Ask only for what you need to call the person back, and get the rest on the phone.

The fields that matter

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Suburb
  • What they need, as a short text box or a simple dropdown
  • Email, optional for most trades
  • Photo upload, optional, for jobs that are easier to quote from a picture

Where to put it

  1. On every service page, near the top and again at the bottom.
  2. On a dedicated contact page.
  3. Linked from your Google Business Profile. See adding a quote link.

After they press send

  • Show a clear thank-you message saying when you'll reply.
  • Send the enquiry to an inbox you check during the day, or by SMS.
  • Call back fast. The first business to call back often wins the job.

Test it monthly

Forms break silently when plugins update or email settings change. Send yourself a test enquiry once a month and check it arrives.

Stop the spam

A hidden "honeypot" field or a simple spam filter blocks most bots without making real customers solve puzzles.
