A good electrician's website does three jobs. It ranks for the specific work you want, it proves you're licensed and trustworthy, and it makes calling you take one tap on a phone.
The pages that matter
- One page per service. Switchboard upgrades, EV chargers, lighting, power points, fault finding, smoke alarms and emergency work are all searched separately. A single "Services" page ranks for none of them.
- Suburb pages for the areas you want more work in, each with local detail rather than the same text with the suburb swapped.
- An about page with your name, photo and electrical contractor licence number.
- A contact page with a short form: name, phone, suburb and job.
What every page needs
- A click-to-call button in the header that stays visible on mobile.
- Your licence number and insurance in the footer.
- Photos of real jobs. A tidy switchboard photo sells better than any stock image.
- Your hours, and whether you do after-hours callouts. Emergency searches need a clear answer.
- Reviews pulled from your Google Business Profile.
Common mistakes
- A page title that says "Home" instead of "Electrician Joondalup | Your Business".
- Listing 40 suburbs in the footer instead of building pages for the 5 that matter most.
- No phone number visible without scrolling.
