Photos are often the first thing customers look at on your Business Profile. Real, recent photos of your work, team and vehicle build trust faster than any description.
The photos every profile needs
- Logo and cover photo.
- Your team, in uniform, smiling.
- Your vehicle with signage.
- Finished jobs, lots of them.
- Before and after pairs.
- Your premises, if customers visit.
Taking good job photos on a phone
- Clean up first: tools away, rubbish gone.
- Use daylight and avoid shooting into the sun.
- Hold the phone level and take a few angles.
- Take the "before" from the same spot as the "after".
- Don't show house numbers or customers' faces without permission.
How often to add photos
Add a few every week or two. A steady flow looks more active than one big upload a year. Check Google's help page for current file format and size requirements.
Avoid
- Stock photos.
- Photos with text or phone numbers plastered over them.
- Blurry or dark images.
Use the same photos on your service pages and in your profile posts.
